I love Project farm but for slightly more objective down to earth products. I think for products like this, things like the velocity, air pressure, and drying speed aren't so much of what people always want from a hair dryer. Its more like the control and consistency of drying and ergonomics that I think this product is going for. The reason it dries slower is because you get a lot more control of the level of drying to avoid burnt / overdried hair basically. By design its also supposed to vent moisture back into your hair basically wetting it on purpose so you have more time to style your hair.

Def more of a product you want to spend more time drying your hair with rather than one thats high output and fast.

My husband got me this for my birthday. I absolutely love it. I have long, fine, thick hair and it dries so much faster with this than my old dryer. I can go straight from the shower to dry in ten minutes, used to take me 20. Also my hair come out super sleek, no frizz or anything.

It's a decent price for their nanoe mid-range.
The Nanoe tech helps add moisture to the hair to prevent overdrying.

Naturally, not their latest tech https://panasonic.jp/hair/
But figure few in America are buying $700~ hair dryers...

I don't know how much Shark hair dryer is, but this Panasonic hair dryer is definitely cheaper than Dyson hair dryer. I have the Panasonic hair dryer and use it every other day when I wash my long hair. I have a lot less fuzziness when I use the Panasonic hair dryer compared to my hair naturally dried. It makes my hair sleek and smooth, thanks to nanoe technology.

I have the Dyson and now this one - I honestly see no difference on the time it takes to dry my hair - from 10-12min with both. The Panasonic is extremely hot and less noisy, the Dyson is light and does the job well. They're both very good dryers so considering the price I would stick with the Panasonic. Unless you find a refurbished Dyson, then I'd say it's worth it.

I have the Dyson hairdryer and this Panasonic dryer. Honestly I like the Panasonic dryer better. Dyson is too loud. Sometimes I am worried that it would impact my hearing because it takes me a while to dry my very long hair. The Panasonic dryer works very well for my very fine and long hair. My hair can be very fuzzy or nappy in certain section if I use a regular dryer. This Panasonic one works well and I love the diffuser attachment it came with. I do want to note that I have never used a special Dyson attachment though, only the concentrator. I highly recommend this Panasonic one for its performance, price, and noise level.
