You must not be a real slickdealer. Buy it at the lower price and take the new one back on the old receipt!

I hate to jump on the 'it's not brushless' bandwagon but fwiw ryobi brushless battery powered nailers are way better quality than brushed

I concur. I did a 1500 sqft house worth of shoe moulding after installing LVP flooring on like half of a 4ah battery with the Ryobi brad nailer - non-brushless.

This size battery for a nailer is silly.

Did it jam at all or give you any trouble?

I've been wanting a nail gun for years, I thought for a moment I might hammer this deal home but it seems a brush is standing in my way.

My 18 gauge Ryobi has never missed a nail. It's great.

I misfired one nail on my Ryobi Framing nailer, but 100% my fault. Shot 1,000 ring shank nails without a miss after

Between my 30 degree framing nailer and 18g brad nailer, only the brad nailer has ever given me issue.

If it sits too long between uses it can gum up a bit and not fully cycle and drive the nail. A fresh application of oil and it works great, no issues.

I have this, I'm just a DIY around the house kind of guy but it's been great for me.

Edit: I'm an idiot, I have the brad nailer.

Are air powered better or about on par depending on the brand/model?

What's the difference between this and a Brad nailer?

I have two non-brushless air-strike tools- I've only worked on cedar T&G and trim and had great success with a few caveats. Use a 4amp HP or better, keep it lubed, and throughly seat mechanisms where the brads and nails feed.
