Dammit these would be perfect laptops (like the zenbook s 14) if the ram were upgradeable. Much like apple, the manufacturers realized they can charge $200-300 more for a $25 upgrade in ram.

Damn crap Apple and Damn these Microsoft and few others who still thinks that they can charge premium price with meager 16GB RAM in 2025.
We should stop buying any Laptop, be it Windows or Apple, with a price tag of $700 + with 16GB RAM.

Has nothing to do with the manufacturer -- the CPU from Intel has the RAM on the "chip". It's not on the system board with Lunar Lake CPU's. You want 32GB you have to buy the 32GB version of the CPU (258V). MacBooks are the same now with their "unifying memory".
