No idea what it tastes like but it uses cane sugar as a sweetener. 8g vs 11g in Liquid IV.

Bad! Check the nutritional facts
Actually pretty good aside from the lower sodium amount compared to Liquid IV. I like that this one has magnesium.

I have to hand it to LD -- they made water "cool and edgy" (and pricey) and THEN sold us flavored powder to put in the water.

Checkmate. It's like Monster, but without wasting all the money on ingredients!

(Srsly, I know they have tons of flavors now, but water put them on the map)

Man you would really have to have a public school education to buy something called liquid death and then put it into your body.
Did they forget to teach basic reading skills at private school?

Idk about that, name literally got me to look into the product. Seems pretty successful marketing to me.

Just Juice 1 lemon + 1 teaspoon of mineral salt. ( Baja Gold salt)

That's all you need.
Real vitamins + minerals + sodium.

Stop buying these " healthy " drinks

From their advertising, it seems that they are trying to kill the plastics industry, by putting water in infinitely recyclable cans.

Sure, let me just pack my lemons in my gym bag, along with the knife to cut it up so that I can attempt to juice it into my water bottle and spill it everywhere. Then I'll just throw the juiced lemon back in my bag until I can find somewhere to dispose of it.
This is about convenience, not about what's healthiest...

Not advocating for this product but having glucose (or sugar in general) actually aids in electrolyte uptake.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK231364/

"Glucose-electrolyte solutions have been found useful in rehydration and in preventing dehydration. Carbohydrate is essential as it facilitates sodium and water absorption."

https://www.nutritionnews.abbott/...trolytes-/

"Electrolytes are specialized minerals, like sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, phosphate, and magnesium. Transporters such as glucose allow your body's cells to effectively absorb electrolytes, and as a result, bring fluid in as well via osmosis."

The kids love this marketing, don't question it.

I'd prefer a mix of mineral salt and NoSalt or something to add potassium.

I don't see a difference in this vs buying the variety pack on Amazon…

I started making my own electrolyte powder:
1/8 tsp potassium chloride
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp magnesium malate
1 pack of True Lemonade mix (various flavors)
5g L-Glutamine
3g Creatine HCL (Con-cret brand)

The last two can be left out if you don't want them. Obviously, you have to have time to measure, and it's not as convenient. However, it saves me a lot of money, and I know what's going on my drink. I suffered from constant leg cramps after working out, and now I rarely get them. Liquid IV was my go-to since I have a sensitive stomach that can't handle sugar alcohol, but it was getting expensive.
