Doesn't say it's X/S optimized? Does it matter?

Doesn't matter, game will run great on old systems regardless.

The second game got a tear out of me, the ending was gut-wrenching. Both are fantastic and well worth their cost.

Such a phenomenal game if you like this genre. Best enjoyed with the sound up, the soundtrack is excellent! My son is a die hard Hollow Knight fan but I think Ori is the better game. Will of the Wisps is great too.

I seem to be in the minority, but I just found it frustrating.

Beautiful setting, but it's way too punishing even on "easy mode". I swear that some of the jumps need to be times down to the fraction of a second or you'll keep missing over and over.

Agree. I also found the world to be painfully monotonous, tree/plant sameness that never changes screen to screen with nothing interesting to break it up. Same level over and over basically with different background RGB color but everything you see in the first 3 minutes of the game is the exact same stuff you'll see for the next 3 hours. I abandoned it after a few hours, maybe it got better later but at that point I was worn out, bored and didn't care. I thought it was a fairly bland game.

To each their own, but I can't disagree with either of these negative opinions more. Difficulty is well set, even though I'm older, and getting around is a huge part of the fun of this game as you become stronger and more nimble. Jumps that are impossible become trivial as you gain new skills. The setting is just gorgeous, and each area has its own feel.

Really good game, I would purchase it still even though its on gamepass.
I was sad when the game was over.
Note there are some challenging areas and figuring out where to go can be frustrating but yet in still I loved it and became addicted to it until I beat the game.
I didn't play the sequel....i.was afraid of the addiction. I will play it though....sometime.

I guess I'm at the point in my gaming that I don't really enjoy replaying the same 60 second segment a dozen times before I finally get the jump timing correct. Or, I had a few times where I'd go like 5-10 minutes and didn't have one of the save orbs (or forgot to save), die, then have to repeat it all over again.

If the difficulty options also included larger jump boxes and on the timed actions - slightly longer periods, then I probably wouldn't have dropped it after a few hours.

It could also be a 3D vs 2D world thing. I've never been good at the 2D Mario games, but have 100%'d a few of the 3D ones.
