I have both.
If you want superior sound, top-notch noise cancelation, then go for xm5.
If you want decent good noise cancelation, apdative sound feature, easy put pop in and out your ear and superior mic, i would go for Samsung. The Samsung pro buds is amazing at canceling the background noise when you talk to someone. The person who talk to me always ask me why it is so quiet even the surrounding is extremely loud.
I love them both, each of them has different case of usage.

International version. There won't be any issues using them with your US devices but you won't be able to get warranty in US.
One of the best earbuds out there for the price. There are better ones out there but they cost significantly more.

Many items on Amazon are transitory. I only see reconditioned models for $160 now.
My wife was looking for a different item; it had a two-month lead time. I searched on her behalf and was lucky with my timing and found it cheaper and with next-day delivery. I looked smart but was simply lucky. Best wishes with your search!

Returning the XM5 that I received that from the eBay $120 deal. I can't even get them out the case, hard to grab and get them out. Also I'm not getting good feel of the refurbished product vs this new.
Thanks for the reviews, a quiet mic is very important for me. I work in a noisy environment and my pixel buds are terrible at picking up the background noise.

I dropped mine and someone picked it up. According to my Samsung Find, it's near but it can't find it. Wish there was a way for me to somehow get it back.

Also, they were super loose in my ears but I've heard a lot of people say they fit well

I have the buds2 pro, which I love and use on a regular basis. I would consider upgrading, from Samsung directly they are only $100 with trade-in of my current buds2
Buds 3 Pro are better. The sound is similar(3 is slightly better), but I have to use fatter tips to keep the buds 2 pro in my ears so they're not as comfortable. Buds 3 Pro are far more stable.

Anyone know if there will be any issues with a US S25 Ultra? Or is it just the warranty won't be honored?
International model uses international buetooth which does not speak English Bluetooth.

I prefer the buds pro 3 to xm5, the audio and noise cancelling are excellent and on par with xm5. Prefer music on the buds 3 as well. Barely ever use my xm5s at this point. Not a fan of stem type buds either. Highly recommend them.

I returned Bose Ultras and went back to Buds3 Pro. I like the voice commands. I got a free pair with my S25 Ultra and a $30 pair with trade in during the release.

These may have unique use cases with Samsung phones (?), but if buds like the Denon Perl Pros are $150 at Amazon, I can't see anyone buying Buds for almost the same price.

This may be a contrarian take, but I honestly liked the 2s better. The 3s do have better sound I think, and perhaps better noise canceling. But I don't like the little posts coming down (similar to Air Pods). They get caught on stuff more easily.. like if I'm taking off a sweatshirt, my headphones are going to be pulled out every single time. Also, the touch controls are a lot less intuitive.. you have to squeeze the little post sticking down, clicking a button.. vs just a finger tap with the 2s. Also, I felt like the build quality of the 2s (including the headphones AND case) was a little better.

I never had a problem with fit for either headphone, but I'd say the 2s fit a little better. Both come with multiple tips, and I'm sure you can buy 3rd party ones on Amazon.

I have not tried out phone calls yet.. I rarely use headphones for phone calls, but that could be a big factor for some and may be worth exploring more about

these buds are surprisingly good. Havent used Samsung Earbuds in a while and mostly been using Soundcore. But got a pair of these free with my S25 Ultra and I'm definitely impressed.

I got these for $70 when I got my S25U they're awesome. They drown outside noise great. The one time I moved my ear and one let sound on from the outside I freaked out. Lol. Hopefully they'll drown out the plane noise on my way to Tokyo tomorrow.

If you have Samsung phone then Galaxy buds is a no brainer.
Also buds 3 pro released a while after xm5 was released so you're less likely to get a lemon 🍋

Thanks

I have the Galaxy buds 2 pro, and I hate them lol. I'd like to switch if it makes sense unless the 3's are a big improvement
