Which is why I do not own one. There is a good reason VA monitors are cheap. You get what you pay for.

Flight sim 2020 looks great on my VA 165hz gaming monitor. So do MMORP games. But if your definition of gamer is someone who only plays competitive shooter games, then yeah VA is not for gamers.

Works fine. As good as OLED? No. But good enough.

What I really really love about this ultrawide aspect ratio is that many of the best movies like Matrix fit perfectly in the frame with no black bars.

My best guess is that people with VA Monitors are so used to seeing the defect that they do not know that the defect is not supposed to be there. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it and it will bother you. IPS monitors may cost more, have dark grey instead of black but they produce a better "moving" picture.
