This years TCL is better..per the latest Hisense U8 is even better than it is
This is per rtings.com
So you are looking at a product..in the 2023 that is lower quality than this years TCLs and this years Hisense( in this thread)
So not an apples to apples type of deal

The Hisense is the more accurate of the two
Who would not prefer that ?
I think I would agree with rtings.com on their consistent preference for the Hisense over the TCL the last two model years( U8 versus QM8)
Also you pointed out the 2023 TCL and even the 2024 is better than that
So as I said before it's not apples to apples
