Better than the REI Danner deal earlier this week? I got 2 of those to replace my daily wear old Columbia ones. Also these Columbia shoes run small - so get 0.5 above and wide.

Just FYI, read the reviews on the Redmond shoes before you buy. I've been wearing Columbia shoes and boots for a long time and this was the first pair that was not comfortable for me. They were too small and too tight. It seems like this model runs small. I already got them dirty so I didn't try to return but I did a chat with their support and they just said they'll pass it along.

Picked up a pair of these last summer with a similar deal ($40). The first and only pair (so far) of Columbia shoes I've had. These are probably the most comfortable out-of-the-box shoes I've bought. We spend a good amount of time outside in the warmer weather on trails and these have been great. They're very breathable. Another words, they're not even close to keeping water away from your feet. Keep that in mind. Also not the shoe to wear when it gets too cold. But very worth the price IMO.

How do you sign up for Greater Rewards membership on Columbia.com website? There's the option to sign in or reset a password but no option to sign up for new customers. This is stupid!
