Well 500 dollars cheaper not including tax in January @ 2200, Black Friday was 2371, I don't want to wait either, but 500 dollars is 500 dollars. Not including the lower tax from paying less. They can keep the soundbar, just charge me less.

Because honestly if saving money on this money saving website isn't worth it.. then why buy this at all and just wait for the G5 which is supposed to steal the color crown back from Samsung and set the goal post for brightness way ahead.

No matter how low the price gets, someone will say it will get lower. Until the stock run dry and we play the same game next year with the G5.

Would you rather go 83" lg C4 or 77" G4… both are priced similar…trying to see if the size is noticeable… plan is to mount over a fireplace… in a big room with viewing distance of 10-12'

Not a rebate, it is cash back, and just 4% of your purchase. That would be $108 cash back for this TV @ $2700, plus 4% back on whatever taxes you pay (if any).

Makes it a little sweeter for sure, but the Amex offer is good until 3/31, so might be worth waiting to see if the TV hits $2200 again.

That is true, but it's also true that the G4 77" was just $2200 on the LG Partner store in January, and I believe $2300-$2400 a couple times in late 2024.

Buying at $2700 now seems a bit high, though I'm not sure whether those other sales included a free soundbar and stand…maybe someone else could chime in.

If they didn't, then I'd say the current $2700 price is pretty close to in line with those sales, if you value the soundbar+stand at $400-$500. If the did, then this deal is basically $400-$500 more than previous sales.

i think the previous $2200 deal did not come with the soundbar. correct me if i'm wrong

This might be the way to go then. After tax and the 4% AMEX cash back, it works out to about $450 more than the previous $2200 deal, but would come with a soundbar and stand that I could potentially sell to make that $450 back. Not sure how hard they would be to move, but hopefully wouldn't be too hard.
