Anecdotal but I've been using this for years. Used to use complete care before they changed the formula a while back. Anyway maybe with time or whatever reason this started to degrade my tongue. Like damaging and altering my taste buds. No other diet changes were made so I had to stop using it. My tongue is starting to recover.

Edit- Peroxide in general eats tissue. Whiter teeth though...

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is a detergent used in toothpaste to create foam. Some of the dangers of SLS in toothpaste include:
  • Possible irritation of the mouth and gums
  • Possibility of your mouth drying out from use
  • Appearance of canker sores
  • Reduction in taste receptors
  • Dry skin
To avoid SLS, look for SLS-free or "non-foaming" toothpaste

This doesn't seem like a good deal. Seems like an Amazon expiration date slickdeals special. I can get better prices on larger sizes of crest any time at the grocery store.

Not one comment saying this is a good deal or good product, but 11 upvotes at the time of this post….hmmmm…

I've used this as my main toothpaste for like a decade or more now. I'm surprised there's so many negative comments about it, maybe I should start looking for alternatives? I haven't had any noticeable side-effects, but maybe I'm just so used to it that I don't remember what things were like before I started using this toothpaste? 😄

I started using this recently because it's less abrasive on tooth enamel. I love how my teeth feel afterward. I also love that the flavor isn't overly strong. Highly recommended!

This gave me horrible chapped lips and sores in the corners of both sides of my mouth. I've never had this happen in my life. Avoid!!!!
