I'm going to upvote this deal, not for the boots I would never wear but because there are plenty of good deals in the sale if you jump to that page instead. Big fan of their jeans, I have 3-4 pairs I've paid $100+ for over the years. All of them have held up perfectly.

Their clothing is quality but not made for tall skinny guys. I bought multiple slim fit pants and holy shit those legs were huge. I guess I need to lift more hay bales.

Not in my size, and if I find another color of this exact boot, same page, in my size, the price jumps UP UP UP.

Great price on a boot. That said, I wouldn't go after a 14" shaft and 1.75" heel if you're thinking you want to just try out some boots. And while I can't see the relationship between boots and cultural appropriation, I do agree that boots, as with most shoes, are personal preference. Shaft height, heel shape and height, toe shape, etc are all up to your own preference and fit.

Always wanted cowboy boots ever since watching Robert Conrad in Wild Wild Wild West. Probably only wear them 3x so I will never actually buy a pair but I still want a pair, and of course a hat and if I have those some wrangler jeans…. And if I have the boots and the hat and all, I'm definitely getting a horse too.

Ariat has good stuff...great price on a pair of 14" shaft boots. Hard to buy online though...boots you really have to try on before you buy--and the fit before they're broken in -- i.e., when you buy them -- has to be quite a bit tighter than your normal "kicks".

Do yourself a favor and watch a few videos on how to try on new boots for proper size, or you'll return these for being "too tight" when they might be the perfect size. (Free returns though, so...)

You'll also need to watch the heel shape--these look like they're in between a roper and cowboy heel, and the toe shape (narrow/pointed vs. square) will both affect fit and comfort.

Lots of variables that can make a boot the best pair of footwear you've ever owned, or something that will just sit in your closet.

they went cheapo years ago and now made in China. Quality is low. Happens every time a name product gets bought out and then it's a race to make the product as low cost as possible.

Make sure it's a mini-horse!

Fair enough, my Ariats were purchased back in 2012 (about to have them resoled today, actually).
