It could be true. And I'm not doubting that OP probably found one.
ABC Warehouse is a regional midwestern electronic store chain with locations in the Detroit area, and they do floor specials sometimes. But I wouldn't count on anybody else being able to find one of these.
OP should definitely mark this one extreme YMMV (right up there with the "hey I found a 65" C2 at Costco for $499" kind of posts). Sometimes they will also put a ridiculous price in a sale ad, and have just a very few units per store. This is one of those spend all day driving around town, get looked at like you're stupid by four different electronic store employees, get told that they haven't had that model for at least 6 months by two others, and probably at the end of the day still not find one. If anybody calls, whatever employee takes to call will say it isn't there whether it is or not and will buy it for themselves if it is. Your odds of getting one of these are probably better than hitting the Powerball, but probably not nearly as good as the daily 4.
