If you didn't know you are supposed to hate it, you'll likely love it. 80% of the DR4 hate comes from internet bandwagoning. Dead Rising 4 in my opinion is the only original DR that actually feels modern....but they did change some games systems so if you are one of those purists who demands 'exactly the same...but different' in a sequels you could be part of the other 20%.
