This is not a bad price, but if this was for the Vice Pro Series, it would be a super Slickdeal!
For people wondering about two-piece vs three-piece golf balls, Dean Snell said it does make a slight difference with performance when adding more layers to the golf ball. With that said…For us regular hacks, we probably wouldn't notice a difference.

The real issue is the type of layers. Most 3 piece balls have an outer urethane cover while 2 piece balls are generally some type of surlyn / ionomer cover. It is generally easier to impart spin upon 3 piece balls which is important when hitting into greens with irons, especially chipping or pitching. You have much better distance / roll out control with a 3 piece urethane ball.
Re this deal, it's OK but pales compared to the Cut Red (two piece) deal also at Amazon, $12.99 for two dozen (24) balls.

Shows at 17.00 for me which is about normal price on their website. If you buy 6 (buy 5, 1 free) and add shipping, it comes out to 16.16 a doz.
edit: thumbs up for a golf deal

For me, you have to subscribe and save to get the $16 price
