Test drove the A Spec AWD model today. I have never had such an underwhelming experience about a product that at first glance looks so promising. The tech is the worst in any car built since the pandemic. Awful body roll. Lackluster sound system. Parts already falling apart on the dash.

This is definitely not an Acura, it's a compliance car. Got a good deal but passed. Who ever put a ~70k sticker price on this car has an agenda.

It's a quiet car that can get you from A to B but it's a shame what they're trying to make this out to be
They're taking 20k off the sticker plus another 14k in incentives. At 3k down and 249 a month all in at 10k miles, it's a great commuter car. The almost $70k sticker price is a joke

Test drove an A-Spec RWD one today in FL . Couldn't stand the futuristic motor moaning sound over the cars interior speakers. Dealer wanted $400 a month with $5K due in signing for 36 months @ 7.5k miles. It's a nice vehicle don't get me wrong, but it's not worth $5k down. It can sit on the lot a few months longer.
24 months is the sweet spot on this lease. No reason you shouldn't be at 3k down and 250 a month including taxes (and first months payment) for 10k miles.

I mentioned this deal to them, the sales person said they have to follow the deals that are in their region. Florida doesn't apply to this deal. I would absolutely accept the 24 month deal if possible.

deal is def. regional- was working possible deal in SoCal and OR and better deal in SoCal, even with the Tax/reg/license fees being much higher.

Keep an eye out for Equinox and Blazer lease deals at half the price, as they're essentially the same vehicle. I think the ZDX and the Lyriq drive better but for half the price I probably would have taken the Equinox to save way more cash on the one pay.

I picked up a ZDX A-spec AWD from Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg, MD. $299 a month for 27 months, only 1st payment plus tax, title, license due at signing. I was able to negotiate that down as well. The car has been great so far, the app is terrible but whatever no use for it anyway.I took the $750 free charging credits since I already had a home charger
How much were the tax, title and license?

What does one do in central Florida? Can you lease in any state and pick it up or have it shipped? Why does Florida suck for car buying/leasing?

It is the basic principle of how many directions you can drive to find a dealer that competes. All the dealers you deal with are protected by the same "pro dealer" laws.

Just bought a car yesterday in SWFL. SWFL definitely sucks for buying a car, there is a TON of homework you have to do just to get to the hagglig....

Not just central Florida, I Went to an Acura dealer in Palm Beach and Miami, the lease amounts were only $2 off, $4900 Down payments $395 (rounding) a month 36 Months, 7.5K miles. If you're in central Florida, see what Autonation Acura North Orlando can do for you, they're posting a 2 year lease deal instead of 3.

5k Down on this car is Absurd, the GM chime opening the door is loud and annoying, and the simulated motor moaning sound over the speakers is annoying. I had an Edge sport that did the same thing, got on my last nerve.
Edit: wanted to add it was a A-Spec RWD $66k base.

Huh? $3K signing + 24x$300 = $10.2K? Where's the $7,200 total price?
Also, 7.5K miles/year, not 10K?

So, now the deal isn't what OP originally claimed?
Or, mfr/dealer has changed original deal?
Or, am I just missing something?

OP, seems you baited-and-switched. What gives?

I would join in as well. Best to look for a AWD for the seattle area though. Also happy to consider their type-s AWD for a bit more.

Deals are dependent on the region and those that want to play ball. I went to two dealerships near me ... one had no clue what a single-pay lease was and the other quoted me around 15k for an AWD silver. The third one near me couldn't get any closer either even when I told them I was about to leave to pick up the car about 75 minutes away. It's a YMMV deal definitely but again ... take a look at my prior comment and look at an Equinox or Blazer for 2-3k for 24 months.
