Not a good price and definitely not a good deal.
The display is absolute trash being 250-nits and 45% NTSC. The 4070 isn't full wattage either, probably 110W. This is their sword lineup which is thin and light at the expense of GPU wattage OR battery.
Considering we've had Legion, ASUS G16 and F15 around this price, there's no reason to buy this.

Only reason this is getting up voted is because the OP didn't mention the complete specs.

while its not top of the line i still thought it to be a decent price as most 4070s are priced over 1k when on sale, i also have owned an msi sowrd laptop with a 3050ti gpu ands its been used heavily for 3 years and its ran great no problems at all. Msi makes really good gaming laptops and im sure this one would be more than enough to satisfy most peoples gaming/work needs.

Problem with MSI gaming computers even their high end expensive ones are their screen brightness.
Usually max out at 250 nits which is way too dim.
If you go one notch below max it is plain miserable.

More deals make rounds now and then that are better than this current one, you just have to keep an eye out for them. There were Legions available at Microcenter and eBay for $849-$899 for quite some time several weeks ago
