Very few watches will appreciate in value, and those all pretty much have a wait time, and or no discount.

The Oris Divers Sixty-Five is a tribute to the brand's original 1965 dive watch, which also had a 100m water resistance rating—perfectly sufficient for recreational diving at the time. It was never intended to compete with modern ISO-certified dive watches but rather to honor its predecessor's vintage design while still being functional for everyday wear. Just because it doesn't meet today's ISO 6425 standards doesn't mean it's not a legitimate dive watch—it stays true to its heritage while offering a stylish and capable timepiece for those who appreciate history. And let's be clear: Oris is not some fashion brand slapping together trendy designs—it's an independent Swiss watchmaker with over a century of expertise in mechanical watchmaking, producing serious tool watches like the Aquis, which does meet ISO dive standards.
Sorry, but this is irrelevant to whether this Oris deal is slick. (And many of us would rather have a genuine Oris than a fake Rolex…)
What? If you think this watch will be worth 1200-1400 next year then you are suggesting that it will appreciate 20+%? That's insane.
By the way this is not a deal. It's the typical Grey market price that is on and off on SD for Oris. I see it quite often. You are certainly not buying this in hoping that it keeps its value any more than a citizen watch. Don't kid yourself. So yes, a fashion watch.
Dude you expect a discount watch brand to appreciate??Buy 1000 value bitcoin..

For the folks calling this a "fashion" or "discount" watch, it's ok if you've never heard of Oris - not everyone has. No need to fabricate your knowledge about it. Save up for your Rolex.
