Can you easily export the data in realtime from their app?

This is a completely useless piece of medical equipment unless you're experiencing a true respiratory distress. Not a cold… a cough… An acute respiratory distress or COPD. The Bluetooth on this is also a gimmick.

Unless you're in your deathbed, this is pointless.

Why would you want bluetooth on a pulse oximeter other than to make you get some app account and steal all of your information. These are used like a thermometer to check your blood oxygen and your not going to be wearing one of these 24/7 unless your in a hospital envronment and likely in very bad shape!

They were useful during covid.

Anyways you can find these on Temu for $1 minus the bluetooth app, which I do not see the point of.

People with low blood oxygen levels may not have traditional symptoms of low blood oxygen. If you have COVID, or a pulmonary infection, having a cheap pulse ox at home can be useful.

If blood oxygen levels aren't important, why would they take that measurement when they triage at the ER?

What an interesting take.
i guess there's zero reason to check your pulse, blood pressure, or temperature either.

Lol where did you attend for your medical degree?

I used to work for a very well known pulse oxymeter company and there's a reason why they put one on your finger whenever you are in hospital.

It's very useful to keep track of patients remotely via your pulse and your oxygen level. This would let them respond to you quickly when you have cardiac arrest or anything that suddenly spikes your heart rate. Nothing kills you faster than a stopping heart or no oxygen circulates in your body. This saves plenty of lives so it's only useless if you are not in health care lol. This is also really important if you are a new parent. If you know what sudden death syndrome is, this would save your child. If you didn't know, now you know

Anyone else a health stats junkie? Since I pay for the fitbit app I try to find as many things to add in and record. But what does this do for someone who is taking daily measurements. Can it be an early indicator for anything?
