I have the Ryobi (same manufacturer) version of this tool and I must say that it has been awesome! The key benefits of this tool are that it allows for one-handed cutting and a much longer reach than manual loppers. The negatives are that the tool is a little heavy and it takes about 1-2 seconds to make a cut.

DTO is a dying breed. Limit 1 on Ridgid because Home Depot is on their azz. Hart is also notorious for having defective 2ah batteries. Buyer beware

Yeah, I bought one of these a while back, dead battery out the box, exchanged it, dead battery again. Went ahead and the ryobi version
