Do you really need that 9070XT now? Because based on component pricing, this is literally scalper pricing for that card as the rest of the stuff can be obtained for around 900.

Agreed. If you can wait and you can build your own pc, no this isn't the slickest deal. If you don't build or need one asap (I always scratch my head over the FOMO urgency) then this is at least a system with few compromises and it's available, which seems to be everyone's issue currently. It's weird to see the gpu market go through these cycles of scarcity. If you're patient and don't need this, supply is supposed to get better for gpus, could be weeks or months, but at least you aren't forced into overpaying.

For extra slick, go to the manufacturer's website and apply code SMS50 to save $50 + 2% CB

I'm not sure how this would work and how to redeem the additional savings you mentioned.

Is this a good deal? Needing a PC fairly soon. Not sure if it's all the 50xx hype that's pushing up prices.

It's a good deal just based off the scarcity of that graphics card, as well as the scalpers pushing the price up. It costs about as much as it would if you were to build it yourself all parts being equal.

Newegg has had readily available 9070 XT search 9070 XT Combo. They come and go. A prebuilt definitely good if you don't want to build, but if you're down, I say hold out. And buy piece by piece.

Worth starting with an 14700k? I will likely need to replace an older 8700k and 2080ti soon...

How's it compared to the best buy ones with a ryzen 9 9900x and. 9070XT? This a better prebuilt brand?
