You can upgrade GPUs for the next decade and guess what? That CPU will still be good.
Additionally if you are running either dlss4 or fsr3 you'll also gain the upscale to 4k benefits by a large margin. If you aren't using those then you'll only benefit in severly cpu bound cases when you're in 4k.
An example would be call of duty 4k. Is heavily cpu bound in all native cases but more so in 4k native, and in that scenario you would need a 5090 to hit 480hz 4k native anyhow.
And besides dlss4 looks better than native when in quality mode. And I'm sure fsr4 will also have the same effect based on the digital foundary tech review of 9070xt in fsr4. So it's a great cpu and a good gpu. As long as you use fsr4 you'll be able to run high settings with high framerates. And you can always upgrade the gpu in the future. But you probably can hold onto the cpu for 4 years and get great performance even then.
This pc even comes with ddr5 6000 the exact ram speed you'd want in a combo unit.
A 5080 is a better card if that's what others are asking about but they cost more and fsr4 is now 95% as good as dlss4, amd has almost caught up completely. Almost.
Now the question about the 9900x vs 7800x3d. The 7800x3d beats the 9900x by more than 15% to 30% in framerates under certain settings in certain games. Heck even the 5800x3d beats the 9900x in those scenarios. It's a technology difference that hasn't been beat since it came out.
