Just switched over from my other Fiber provider using this deal. The combo of Amex and other card offers on the bill and the immediate Gift cards and perks (I had a JBL speaker option pop up) make it pretty lucrative.
I will say, the install was embarrassingly bad. They replaced my old fiber modem with a combo AT&T router / modem and didn't route it back to my current router or inform me of anything, basically the tech got the ping on his phone saying I had internet and left.
Fortunately, I'm pretty familiar with this type of stuff and was able to get everything working after an hour of tweaking settings and resets.
Another funny part, they have another rep upsell you on getting the combo phone plan while you wait, he offered me an insane deal (BYOD $25 a month for 4 lines for 2 years) I was genuinely shocked at that rate and was considering dropping Google Fi, but as he started breaking down the promos he was like "OOPS, I actually cant stack all of those, never mind, I'll email you a new one". the new one is like $60 for 10 months. Not terrible, but really shot himself in the foot there... I think I'm going to keep my current phone plan.

Lovely. All I need is AT&T fiber to expand a few blocks in my neighborhood and cover my address.

I did this in December, and surprisingly I got all the $250 gift cards plus a jbl go4 speaker. Also got a monthly discount for having their AT&T hotspot plan which counts as having wireless service

I had DSL with them for years and waited and waited for their Uverse "fiber". I sign up and they end up sending me a newer DSL modem with a Uverse sticker on it.

From that decade of service, I can't really bring myself to ever go back. Their technicians and support are some of the worst I have encountered from a billion dollar company.

So ymmv but I signed into my account to check if fiber was available in the area. I added the service to cart got to the check out and it said I had an extra $50 and the $150 for doing the order online. Then I closed the tab and just forgot about it because I got busy doing something else. Couple hours later I received an email that I forgot something in my cart. To my surprise they added another $150 gift card for being a wireless customer and the $49 jbl speaker totaling $399 in credits with the value of the speaker.

Also if you are going from copper to fiber I would suggest signing up for alerts to be notified when fiber is available. You'll receive a promotional email stating that you can switch to 300 plan at no additional cost of your current copper line price.

"Internet Upgrade Offer: Subj. to change and may be discontinued at any time. Existing AT&T Internet customers on plans (768k to 100) can upgrade to AT&T Fiber for the same monthly rate or less (Internet 300 only) than their current internet plan. Must visit the URL on this email and request to upgrade to fiber internet service. Customer account must be in good standing. Taxes & Fees: Monthly cost recovery charges which are not government‑required apply in TX, OH and NV. Taxes also apply. For one time AT&T transactional fees, see att.com/fees for details. Pricing subject to change."

Last time this deal popped up, I was told I could get the gift cards plus a smart home bundle but after modem arrival, was told I actually wasn't eligible for the bundle despite my showing chat logs from ATT. Don't trust them.

FYI cable ISPs (i.e. Spectrum, Comcast maybe others) have been rolling out symmetrical gig internet over cable to compete with fiber over the past 0-2 years. Check to see if it's available in your area. Spectrum has been going live in big metros very recently, so you may have it available. Competition is driving rates down in my area. 😊

I have Earn a one-time $40 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to purchase AT&T Fiber. (Spends 55 or More)
-Admittedly, the wording on the terms makes it sound like I have to buy from a specific link... but I'm hopeful that one will go through. My wife has it as well, so can double dip.

U.S. Bank Cash+ Card, which I use for my utility/Internet bills (5% categories, so great!) had an offer that just expired for new activations, but it was 2x $50 transactions get $50 back.

Ive seen offers pop up on chase and cap one cards also I believe, just not atm, but they may roll back around.
