Wake me up when they put Snapdragon 8/X Elite in this.

Mediatek is decent and all. But as a leader in Android tablets, Samsung needs to be more competitive.
I love using DeX, having 2TB micro SD, being able to run more than 2 apps actively on the huge screen, and not to mention all the other android benefits.
If you really need this upgrade, I'd get it at this price. If you can wait, please wait until they drop S11U this summer.

Got it for $539 + tax through the Samsung app. Had a monitor in my cart already, then added the tablet, and clicked "save for later" on the monitor (g80sd) and the price dropped due to a $100 promo
You're able to see it on the app? Mine is showing that mobile and tablets are not available and they're only available through the website

I was able to snag one with the $100 off by leaving it in my cart and checking the app after 20 minutes. Does anyone know if it's easy to return these? The customer chat rep said there is no restocking fee.

I have an S7+ right now and am worried this is too big. I usually hold the S7+ in portrait mode for reading.

Had you ordered from samsung.com before? Either via app or otherwise from the same account?

I would be a bit careful about this, I got told this by a rep for an SSD but got charged a restocking fee. That said, I did a chargeback for it and they didn't ban me for it, so YMMV.

I mean its not really worth $400. Samsung can easily just discount the item $400 less but they make you do these extra steps. Like mail in rebates, remember that annoying shit?

Kinda surprised that an ultra tablet is using a Mediatek cpu. Is it alright?

I also saw the $100 discount briefly, then it went away. I got it back by force closing the Shop Samsung app on iOS and re-opening. At <$600 with Calif. tax I bought it against my better judgment... I also used a referral code for -$40
Confirmed this works on edu acct and Samsung app on Android👍🏾

It's likely going to be recycled for the small amount of precious metals inside. Certainly not $400 worth though
