I will offer a counterpoint to the virtues of this product. I tried this exact version a few years ago direct from the company and sent it back. The cooling function really isn't cooling as much as it is pumping ambient air from the floor into the sheets. That may or may not be cooler air depending on the region you live in and how humid your air is. I've actually setup a fan next to my bed on hot nights with a small gap exposed at the bottom of the sheet and felt like it was the same experience albeit not as much air flow. I'm not going to dispute whether Bed Jet helps people or not as it either does or does not create a better night sleep but I just could not get on-board for the price point and lack of real cooling. I also felt like the marketing was a bit disengenious. Lastly, I have also grown fond of the feel of a heavy weighted blanket which this product tends to create the opposite. I'm not sure it would be very easy to DIY a replacement (at least the remote control) but I believe they mentioned on the company's Shark Tank debut that it cost a whopping $98 to make the product. Just sharing my two cents and experience with the product.

The force is strong with you.

Not one person mentioned the fact that you HAVE to leave the sheet hanging off the bed - its not like the air gets pumped in no matter what. I personally like to burrito my feet and legs up with the comforter, so this would never work for me.

Also on a side note - do you feel like conversations on here are happening much less? I used to comment a few times a week and would almost always get a response. Now I feel lke half the stuff I say is shadow banned or something.

No, I was not comparing at all. Blowing air is a scam and just doesnt work. I was providing people who actually need a cooling/warming bed to know there is something out there that actually does this.
Eight sleep ranked 5th place, below bedjet in the head to head that was posted, and bedjet is a small fraction of eight sleep's price. As long as your ambient room temperature isn't 80 degrees with high humidity, bedjet will perform great. And for the heating, bedjet cannot be beat.

Cloud sheet helps a surprising amount. I resisted for a season but they got the double sheet as we have two bedjets. Its one of those products i wax lyrical to my friends, and lol I wish I was getting paid to say that.
Are we talking Vanilla Ice lyrical, or Eminem?

There's a 10% discount code for military, first responders, etc, or if you can get someone to give you a referral code, you can also get 10% that way, but those are the only two discounts I know about. You definitely want a cloud sheet for the best experience.

The page with the discounts for military, first responders, and healthcare workers is here:

Just one person's opinion: I - and my perimenopausal wife - were not fans of bedjet. The chilisleep/ooler/chilipad however has been a game changer.

Can use whatever sheets/blankets we want with it, and skin not getting dried out by constant air flow - or you have a small opening in your sheet at night and a stream of air blowing in your face like a wayward CPAP.

Yes, a significant price difference, but you either want a cooler that actually works or you don't. Do with this information what you will.

Now I look for the shills to tell me that my /opinion/ is wrong.

Copped this - thank you. 5% on the PayPal Freedom Unlimited offer helped me over the edge as well.

I got one of these 4 or 5 years ago. I love it!

Please note that this is not a substitution for an A/C! I found that out the hard way. I went and visited a friend for a weekend, and I remembered the last time I visited for the weekend I roasted and could not sleep. So I brought this with me... I still roasted. They like it warm and their house was warm (no A/C). This does not blow cold air - it will blow the room temperature air. So I could have it set on 65 but it wouldn't get lower than the room temp of 72.

I love it for in the winter with the heat settings. It's very nice!

I don't use the remote anymore - just the app. I found the remote was a battery hog, and it was too easy to bump buttons on it while you slept.

I don't like the sleep timers... it will only allow you to set a schedule based on # of hours, not based on the time. For example, you could have it do cold air on 90% fan for 2 hours, then 50% for 1 hour, then off for 3 hours, then have it turn on heat mode for 30 minutes to help you get out of bed... all good except who goes to bed at the exact same time every day? I'd have much rather be able to set it by the hour.... so say I got up at 6am, I could have it turn on low heat at 5, and get a little warmer until 6am, and then when my alarm goes off the bed is all nice and warm (or cold, however I wanted it).

People who can sleep in a warm ambient temperature are demons, you should end that friendship, pronto.

If you have the money for it and it works for you, why not? I however, am here for the slick...deals.

Which is a large reason why sleepme went out of business in 2023 with the chili products. Too expensive. We'll see how long it lasts with the current owner that bought the defunct company's assets to continue selling them.

I owned Chilipads for 10+ years, but I eventually gave them away after trying the Bedjet. It works better for us in the sticky southeast summers.

I litterly had mine delivered last Wednesday at full cost. I am going to order this also. I sleep very hot, toss and turn, etc and this has been a game changer for me. I do not run the cloud sheet and works great. There is also reddit recommendations to use a duvet cover instead of the cloud sheet which I haven't tried yet.

I noticed Bedjet sells refub units on their main site for $350. Is the unit in the OP a new or refurb unti?

It looks like the refurbished ones on the site do not have a remote so I would say no

These are new. You can get the remote-less refurbs for as low as $299 sometimes, but you're missing the remote and you have to pay shipping, so you're looking at $350 all in once you add a remote (mandatory, IMO) and shipping anyway.

These new ones on the GMA deal at $244.50 are literally an unprecedented price level for new. I've never seen them priced this low. My first thought is maybe bedjet4 is imminent (adding the Alexa, Siri, etc integration promised to be coming when Bedjet3 was released, but then ultimately abandoned), but it sure won't be less than $250, so...
