MC sells the AMD Ryzen 5 4500 at $60

MC hasn't carried a low-cost B450 board in some time, with their lowest price option for AM4 being an A520-chipset model at $70 (not in stock at every store).
So best case depending upon your area would be a comparable CPU/motherboard combination final price, but with a CPU with less cache (8MB vs 16 MB) and a slightly lower maximum turbo speed (4.1GHz vs 4.2GHz).
This deal is something I'm probably going to grab just to get a small CPU upgrade over a DIY combo I'd researched recently pairing a $65 ASRock B450M from Amazon in combination with the AMD Ryzen 5 4500 CPU from MC.

Is the Cooler master paste much better? Should one just scrape off the included paste and use the cooler master paste? It only gets 3 stars from reviews.
What gpu and monitor does he have now?
If you want to potentially avoid any manual config and just enable XMP and go then stick with 3200.
There is virtually no difference between 3600 CL16 and 3200 CL18.

Also, I'm talking to ChatGPT about the build and it keeps saying I need to be aware that the motherboard might need some kind of "bios update" to support Ryzen 5000 series CPUs, and that if these don't sheep with the update it won't boot without first installing an older CPU and doing the update first...any guidance on whether this is a real concern??
