$40.20 for 100 oz, means 0.402 per oz. 16 oz to a lb, so 6.432 per pound?

So much easier in metric lol

Each bag is 1.25 lbs. Each bag is $8.04/ea (with 5% S&S). Price per pound is $6.43 (not a math major...)

"blend" means they put together whatever they have in. I'd prefer single origin instead of a mixing bag of coffees.

If you're a light roast fan, Day Break is great and one of my all time faves.
That being said I'm just hesitant buying this much of it from Amazon when the best buy date could be next week.

Good deal, received these today. For anyone wondering about the best by date, the "best if brewed by" date on all 5 of mine was 7/22/25

Many roasters place their best-by dates one year or even more from roasting date. Peet's is one of the few national brands that includes a roasted-on date.

Yes, and sometimes the flavor profile changes ever so slightly. The last bag of Caribou Blend I used had more darker roasted and oily beans than I remembered. Taste was definitely leaning hard toward carbon and ash flavors. I won't be buying this again in the near term…

No two batches are identical so the flavor profile changes ever so slightly even with single origin.

Yes, from year to year's harvest with single origin. However I've experienced more noticeable flavor drift with blends from national distributors as the roasters have to contend with changing availability.

Ground coffee is always cheaper than whole bean coffee because its quality is quite a bit lower. Avoid it if you are a coffee gourmet.

Absolutely stick to the single origin. This blend probly has shit brazilian robusto combo beans inside.

Dont think too much into it. Your coffee has probly been sitting for over a year+. Its far from fresh. I would consider fresh coffee to roasted and then consumed 24-72 hours after.
