I bought this last time around and after I did a setup, I genuinely prefer the action over my Gibson Les Paul custom. Be aware it is heavy like the Gibson.

Do not hesitate if you want a great guitar.

Hi,

Do you mind specifying what you did for a "set up"? I am a lifelong bassist and casually play guitar and always am curious what people mean when they say they have to do set up on electrics.

Setup typically includes truss rod adjustment, intonating strings, string (action) height adjustment, and pickup height adjustment. Not sure about the quality though, they're decent, but it's no where near my Gibson Les Paul Custom.

Look up a guitar plek machine. It measures and adjusts fret height to improve action.
