Purchase this item on Clearance in store. While supplies last.
This and the ridgid flashlight are the only 2 ridgid items I'd stay away from. This vacuum is close to useless. The 18v shop vac has great suction but this thing is very weak. Even at $49. Maybe if you were in it for the battery and charger. I had this in my shop for about a year before throwing it on the trash. Couldn't bring myself to sell it.

In case you can't find this in stores, it's available open box from HD partner Secondipity for $53.99 - (10% off coupon for first time buyers) = $48.60
This thing is absolute trash. I wouldn't buy it again for $10.
Okay, mind sharing if it was this particular model that came out in 2022 or an older one? I watched this very detailed comparison testing of this model vs other similar vacuums from Makita, Shark, Dewalt, B&D, etc. on the market before pulling the trigger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltKcpGOFjiY
Based on that comparison, it appears to be mid to top-tier and for $50 with a battery and charger it is worth the investment to me for home use. So, to each their own.
I've used one of these for 3-4 years and I am very happy with it. Many people say it is "trash," not sure what they are expecting for a little handheld vacuum.
I've been waiting for a deal so I can get one to keep in the house. My wife always takes mine from the shop. Unfortunately item is not in inventory anywhere near us.
