Having comparable price for less is probably ideal since I'd prefer to have and consume smaller batches at a time before getting a fresh batch.

The only difference is where it sits - the store shelf or your pantry shelf.

Same here. That's where I got my sesame oil last time. Grocery outlet stores are awesome.

Missed it last time.

Check on desktop if you don't see the coupon on mobile. Worked for me.

Yeah, it's a little lighter in flavor than other sesame oils. It has that toasted sesame flavor, but it's not as strong IMO. It is in a protective can and it didn't go rancid on me, so there is that.

I got this same deal in January and love the flavor and the can it comes in. It's great used as a finishing oil.

Most Asians only use Kadoya sesame oil for personal use. If you want cheap go Lee kum kee.

Kadoya is my preferred but bought this last time it was on sale. The flavor of this is definitely lighter. I wind up using more to get the flavor I want, so it kind of negates the price difference. Also, the pour spout is kind of terrible...it always dribbles on the can no matter how I pour.

Came here to say the same about this being fine but not as strong/ toasty sesame flavor, which may be a plus for some. I'm glad you commented on the pour spout. Worst pour spout ever.

sounds like you don't use much. better to use up opened sesame oil within 8 months for tin can and 3 months for plastic/glass bottle. our house goes through a 56oz tin can in 3-6 months because we also use it for marinate and we haven't noticed flavour or aroma change within that time frame
