I'm not sure this is a good deal, it was $1347.99 at Walmart yesterday so they've been playing around with the price. Also it's 1,259.99 on the Samsung EDU/EPP site

I was able to get open box for $1050 last month, all it was missing was a remote and power cord. employee told me he was hoping I wouldn't show up cause it was too good of a deal and he was going to take it

As long as we're bragging about deals, I got it for $999 display from Costco with a 5 year warranty. Still, pretty hard to replicate that. It's a great TV.

Those two items ( remote and power cord) are easily replaced items for less than $20( all in ) on Ebay

There is an $1195 open box Samsung 65" S95D in my area that is tempting

I thought buying it new from a authorized seller through Ebay for $1230 during black friday was good but holy smokes that's a wildly good deal.
Are you sure it wasn't the S90C that was on sale for $999?

According to my receipt it's the s90d. And I was slightly wrong in that I paid a straight $1k.

I basically got this guy's deal but arguably worse since he paid $200 less (C vs D tho):

Costco has the same price right now and they bundle a 3 year extended allstate warranty with it for 5 total years of warranty (1 from manufacturer, 1 from costco, final 3 from allstate)
