Think your son may enjoy this esp if he likes Spongebob

There was also a Spongebob remake that is pretty good and always goes on sale: Battle for Bikini Bottom which runs $15-20 retail and $30 digital.

Either way read some reviews or better yet watch some Youtube reviews that will break down the pros and cons better than just a written review

This right here ^ I really want it for the nostalgia and the steelbook, but $20 is a little much for a few hour game. At least it's not as bad as the $40 Rugrat game that is only an hour or two long... That's a shame.

He does love Sponge Bob and especially Patrick. We have Bikini Bottom on 360 and he likes it. Worst case scenario he hates it and I sell it for $100 to a Nintendo Fan in 20 years

My cousin enjoyed the Patrick game and he (who hates all things his sister likes) LOVES Peach Showtime, so check that out it's geared more towards children. Best of luck grabbing a Switch 2 Wink

Looked around more and there are some reviews with a much more positive opinion:

As mentioned earlier, it might be one of those games that's much easier for kids to get into than adults.

Part of me wants this deal just for the case…and if the game is good that'd just be icing on the cake.

Waiting for Peach Showtime to get to $30 without a paywall as my wife wants it.
I'll wait for Switch 2 price drop. Most switch games I own, turn based RPGs) don't tax the console much.
