cheap/ no brand dashcam. But, it does have a lithium battery that provides 15-20 minutes after parking car.

Personally, it'd go with something with a Starvis sensor like the Viofo A119 v3. I still use this camera and it's 5 years old running strong. Great quality camera and doesn't require a proprietary cable to enable 24 surveillance. Uses an SD card or you can connect it directly to the PC to view videos with SD card attached.

"Our dash cam inside widely comes with 32GB sd card, which is inserted into dash cam, and it supports max up to 128GB memory card, allowing you to save more driving memory"

So I got this just to try it out. It's terrible. The front camera isn't too bad and the inside camera is decent. Set up is relatively easy too. But the back camera, my God. The quality is REALLY bad, I can't see ANYTHING clearly on it, I parked in front of a car and I couldn't read the license plate. Definitely avoid. I have a VIOFO A119 V3 for the front and some Aukey dash cam in the back; both are superior.

Returning to Amazon today. Used for three days, just went reviewed the footage. Hard pass. Road signs and license plates are unreadable.

This is the model I have. I bought it earlier this month and I just got into an accident today, simple rear-end collision. I didn't install the rear cam, but the inside cam caught the collision through the rear window. I was pretty satisfied with the quality, although the condition was ideal, with plenty of light and I was still when I got hit. You could clearly see the car approaching and failing to stop.
Even if you don't get this one, get a dash cam. It's a cheap insurance.

These aren't really meant for reading plates. More for checking at-fault

I've been rear ended twice in 10 years and my dash cam footage came in handy. You really do need rear coverage, perhaps more than front coverage, as I never rear ended anyone in the same time.

One was a lady doing her g dang mascara and her foot slipped off the brake. She blamed the car. Pathetic.

Yes officer, this black car that I can't read the plates for from my grainy footage is at fault. Uh, no, I didn't get the license plate before he drove off. It's the black car, can't you just find the black car that rear ended me? It's black, look at the footage!

Most cops wouldn't even care if they drove off unless someone died. If someone died, they would be making a wider effort to find that black car.
