I have constantly been seeing these deals put out by 7 Eleven; however, how does this deal beat and I write, a deal like $20 off $30? I will give it that it would be more than 50% off if one spends $30-31 and so it's not bad. I am just wondering what is going on in the heads of these marketing people at 7 Eleven.

I don't think I follow your reasoning. There isn't a 20 off 30 available right now. This is the deal available today so take it or leave it. Any time they offer up one of these for more than 50% it's a good deal so why not? It's St Pat's day so it's 17 off 30 so obviously that's what's in their heads

It is just odd because $20 off $30 is a better deal and they decide to do a $17 off $30? It feels like they are baiting people. Or else do not offer such a great deal at first and then go back and think $17 off $30 is somehow a FOMO deal because of some unofficial holiday.

They can decide to do whatever they want. You seem to think they are obligated to offer the best promotion every time.

Stop crying about it. Either use the deal or don't.
I installed the app, and it's only showing one location 20 miles away at a highway rest stop, There's 3 locations within 10 blocks of me, wtf are they only showing one so far away?
most retailers are offering $1 off a beverage/food item for St. Patrick's Day
This is basically 50% off a $30 order
Some of the best items to get from 711 that are closest to true retail or cheaper is bottled water in the case - they carry most brands including Icelandic/Acqua Panna in glass
Best bang for your buck is Skyra 1L bottles which are always on sale 2 for $4
You can get 16 bottles of Skyra for around $15 - some of the best affordable naturally alkaline water that happens to have a similar taste profile to Icelandic Glacial (same country of origin but not the same actual source of water obviously)

Check how they take the sales tax off. From another thread, that was an issue.

I think lots of locations don't offer pickup and delivery. In my area, about 1/3 of locations aren't on the app.

With the coupon code, the eggs x12 are about $1 cheaper than eggs from super market.
