💯 awsome game my wife even got hooked watching the game play and wanted to watch me play the 2nd one. The tv series that came out after we both liked as we could both relate. This game brings out feelings

I really tried to like the series, but the actress they chose for Ellie ruined it for me. She's talented...as seen in GOT, but I can't stand her in this role.

I agree about part 2. TLOU was intended to be a self contained game with no sequel. They retconned the ending with part 2 and relabeled TLOU as Part 1. And Druckman made sure to undo everything in Part 2 prologue to make Joel look like a psycho. All from changing the music, the color scheme, etc. Druckman wasn't the sole creator of "part 1" or even a lead writer as it was a collaborative effort with other writers vs part 2 where Druckman was so full of himself, became VP at ND, allows himself to lead part 2 and his bad ideas went unchecked.

There's some really impressive deep dives into the storytelling retcons of all of this.

I experienced crappy launch release for the first time because I never buy games new. it was months worse crappiness bad but it's better now., The game still is not very well optimized even on 6800 XT. Anyways 6400LP it is really underrated card for slim desktops like refurbished Optiplex's. I wish AMD would make successor rx7400 / rx9400 or something but now I'm going off tangent.

Playstation games are notoriously bad for sales. They still price older catalog like their selling physical copies of their "greatest hits" and unfortunately we can't buy "used" games for a fraction of retail.

Has anyone played recently? I tried maybe a year ago but this game crashed nonstop around the Lincoln chapter. It always seemed like a buggy mess but maybe they've patched it finally.
