Product Description:
- Official Racing Simulator for Xbox One and Windows. 900 Degree Force Feedback racing wheel. Realistic 11"/28 cm wheel. Large pedal set included. With its official embedded software, this racing wheel is automatically recognized by the Xbox One console and is compatible with the console's menus. PC compatibility (Windows 10/8/7/Vista) is ensured thanks to the THRUSTMASTER drivers available for download from our website. The drive system with adjustable Force Feedback lets you feel every detail while you're racing (the road or track's relief, loss of tire grip, braking, bumps and impacts, and more). The rotation angle is adjustable from 270 to 900 degrees. A mixed belt-pulley and gears system is smoother, more fluid and less noisy than helical gears, with a metal ball-bearing axle for enhanced sturdiness. The THRUSTMASTER TMX comes along side some very impressive technical specs: the end result is a high-performance wheel that is both solidly-built and precise, delivering unrivaled flexibility for gamers of all levels - from beginners to experienced racers - and on all types of racing circuits.

We had another thrustmaster that was not
But if you are just getting serious with SIM racing, go for TX servo base. Thank me later after 6 months, if you don't lose interest and plan to upgrade. lol

It has a hybrid belt and gear force feedback and feels a bit better than the Logitech ones in this price range. Software is basic, no game profiles, but gets the job done.
Thrustmaster has pretty good compatibility across games. I only had minor issues in Burnout Paradise force feedback. Games like Crew, Mud runner, Bus Simulator that work with very few wheels work with this one.
Many people don't like the somewhat lightweight pedals. They can last a long time but will break under rough use. A common upgrade path is to the basic pedal kit from Fanatic.

Which direct drive will you suggest?
Similar question - bought the logitech G923 with shifter and wondering if its worth the premium?

Moza R3 bundle and Fanatec CSL DD bundle are designed to get you into the ecosystem. Very basic offerings that you'll typically want to order with add ons (or a table clamp if not included). Both have a mixed service record.
Cammus and PXN are probably the cheapest but I'd avoid them, game compatibility and software quality are questionable.
