Wouldn't receomment because of the battery situation. Even though i use rechargable batteries, to have to take out the batteries, find the charger, charge, then put them back in, sucks.

BUT hate that it can not lock the mode and rotating useless (for me) mode each time i turn on.

While the original flashlight deal does cycle between high-medium-low-SOS-blink, it starts out in High, so that would be the same as what you would get with the single mode lights. Then it's also just one press to turn it off, so it really isn't significantly different from lights that have a single mode, and I'm not sure why it bothers people so much: Press it just once and it's a single mode light.

I can confirm, the listed flashlight does not do that. I waited more than 1 minute and still jump to next mode when I turn on

EDIT: What I notice in the reviews is that a recent review (March 2025) for the 4-pack deal mentions that it remembers the last mode setting whereas that is mentioned in the 2-pack deal in a review from 2022, so perhaps the 4-pack deal has an older model.
