Good for simple regular size water bottles. don't expect it to hold during mountain biking. but good for city trekking or beach cruising. much sturdier than the similar cheap ones on AMZ. I put my JBL speaker (round bottle style) in it when riding.

have one but different brand, it sucks .. don't even try to put anything bigger then a water bottle in it. The whole bike water cage will not stay put and wanna tip over no matter how much your trying to tighten it ... the tighter u try , this thing will break due being plastic hinges, just get the ones that's screw on to the bike and save yr self headaches
These are pretty cool because they can attach to microphone stands. I was going to try and use a heat gun to open one up a bit and see if it could accommodate a larger bottle

This tightens better than the other brand. it holds tight on even smaller handle bars. And its wayy sturdier. the clamp has rubber for grip, unlike the molded plastic on the other one. You should probably judge this brand before making assumptions that they are all the same.
I saw this on clearance the other day in the store, I bought it for clamping onto a stroller that doesn't have a parent's console. Works perfect for it.
