The panel light can run on battery OR with a 110v plug and has 3 levels of brightness.
The smaller light is almost always my first choice when needing a flashlight. The amount of articulation makes hands free use very easy and supplies plenty of light.
I don't use the light cannon as much, but when I do, it is a beast, and there be no problem seeing what you are looking at 70 yds yes away :-)

The panel light set on its lowest setting works pretty well in a power outage situation. The left and right panels can be moved up or down independently of the center light. You can bounce the light off a white wall if you want to soften it more.
The small light provides plenty of light in a power out situation for 1 person.
Between the two sets, this is the one I would pick. But I have propane lanterns for camping.

Probably zero. Lol
The other lights are phenomenal when projects run into the night. They provide a lot of light and the adjustability of the panel light adds to its usefulness.

The torch is a beast, to look at trees & utility poles at a distance.
We had a tropical storm like event up north before Christmas the other year ... with like a million people without power. We're set back two utility poles from the street. Neighbor's tree crashed our utility pole close to the house and landed on the roof.
Days later, at night, one person was sent out with a flashlight and his phone to do the assessment and document the damage & needed work, with photo & video, in the brutal cold ...
Between the Ridgid torch & area light, plus my RYOBI area light ... I just lit up whatever he needed to see & document.
This light kit ( and some other Ridgid flashlights, etc ) travel with me, and are ready to go in any storm situation.
