I have the 28-75 and 70-180 and and one of Tamron's best features is every lens in the deal above uses a 67mm filter size so I don't have to invest in multiple sizes of filters.

Also, here are the lowest reputable prices I could find to compare them to online

Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 Lens

Amazon $699
Greentoe $549

Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens

BB, Amazon, B&H, etc $799
Greentoe $549

Tamron 50-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD Lens

B&H $799
Greentoe $599

Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD Lens

B&H $799
Greentoe $599

Tamron 28-300mm f/4-7.1 Di III VC VXD Lens

B&H $899
Greentoe $749

Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD Lens

Amazon $1070
Greentoe $975

Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 Lens

Amazon $1080
Greentoe $999

That 28-200mm is an unknown gem. I have a bunch of fast primes and I never expected this to be my most used lens. Sharp almost edge to edge, no aberrations and virtually no focus breathing for video. I'm still surprised how such optically good lens exist for an all in one zoom and how it is rarely known and the price of it. I paid $800, having used it a lot I would've happily pay $2000+ since there is nothing competing in its space. At $550 its a steal.

Edit: And great AF by the way. Silent and fast.
Only missing thing is the optical stabilization in lens but for a lens with 7x zoom range, that would have ballooned the size/weigh and price. This things weights less than standard zooms. Build quality is fine, nothing to brag, nothing to complain. It is weather resistant.

Is this deal dead? I don't see those prices, I want the 28-200
I see it as still live, but it might not be available in all locations.

Can anyone speak to the picture quality of the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 ? I still have my kit lens for that focal length. I was planning to upgrade only when I could afford a Sony G-Master series lens (maybe used). However I read one reviewer who claimed this Tamron could compete for tack-sharp quality as the G-series (likely not Master) glass, but I don't see that comparison everywhere. I'm not convinced yet. Any advice?
You can go check out picture reviews on Amazon for the lens. It performs excellent for portraits, landscapes or any other project really. If I find that one of my prime lenses won't fit the job, the 28-75mm is my go to. It's also my go-to for family holiday get together.

I already have the Sony FE 20mm F/1.8 G SEL20F18G
A Tamron 28-77mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 from Greentoe $599
Anyone has experience with the Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 and would recommend for the Sony A7C.

I have 70-180 for me a7c2. Very decent lense if you are into portrait photography. Also suitable for landscape and bit of macro(at 70mm only). It's a good, cheaper and lighter alternative to the 70-200GM2.

The 50-400 is a great travel lens but not for the weak. It's big and heavy but pair it with the 17-50 F4 and you have a great travel combo lens. Great for landscape and getting wildlife

I just bought sony a6700 aps-c camera with 16-50 kit lens. I'm looking to buy a best lens that'd be perfect for portraits, indoor and outdoors of my 2 kids (both under 4). Basically, best overall. I've newer owned a camera before. Which one of these would be best? TIA

This deal is still alive for me, at least for the Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD Lens for $549. Ordered last week, got delivery, worked incredibly smoothly.
Big props to Greentoe & OP for this find.
