Make sure you set you Vcore (not VID) under 1.3v and SA under 1.25v. It's a GREAT DEAL if you have some basic OC knowledge.

You will have to figure out which motherboard you have. Brand name and model name. Go to that manufacturers website, you will find all the information there. It's usually not that complicated. Sometimes you need a flash drive, sometimes you can do it via windows or even the motherboard. Just make sure you do it.
These CPU's have an inherent flaw that they can overheat and get damaged. It's been a nightmare for Intel. But they came out with a fix that has to be applied to your motherboard via an update. If you don't think you can or want to update your motherboard, I wouldn't get this CPU.

Intel gave me a 14700k for my 13700k that may or may not have been experiencing issues. It runs cooler, is faster, and is very stable on the new bios. I like it, especially at this price, wow.
