A hole from a defect is one thing, but if it's self induced, no manufacturer is going to cover that with warranty.

North Face has become fast fashion. I would not buy from them again.

Got a hole in one of my puffers, they have lifetime warranty but denied it, also did not offer a solution other than f u.

It was a hole on the inside of the pocket, didn't seem self induced, unless putting keys in there is a no-no, which seems like a pretty normal thing. Is the jacket made out of thin paper that you can't hold keys?

A simple credit or discount code could be a nice olive branch but nope, they rather lose out on a customer for life and one that will not be shy on steering people away from NF.

I feel bad that I spent money on a borealis backpack during my visit to the NF store when I submitted the warranty claim.

I'm rarely going to offer a blanket complaint about poly (that's the trend now!) but NF poly jackets and pullovers have gotten pretty bad, on par with off-brand TJ Maxx stuff. Stuffy, sweaty, and not even very warm. I don't mind that in most cases, but I have a lot higher standards for NF. Not all products are created equal.

you really tried to do a warranty claim because of a hole on the INSIDE of a pocket instead of just grabbing some thread/needle and sewing it or taking it to a tailor shop and spend $5-10 for a quick sew while you sit in the chair? I never mind annoying customers not buying from me anymore, not worth the headache. and I bet if its reversed and a customer was petty with you in your job/business you would be just as annoyed.

FWIW - I find the Patagonia "better sweater" to be fantastic and it appears the be a similar sort of knit 100% polyester material.

I don't sew, hard stop.

That is fine, plenty of companies that will gladly take my money.

Right - fleece is always 100% polyester.
