I got one a while back on Secondipity brand new for $9. Its not bad at all but odd to use a regular pillow case with it and I don't know of compatible pillowcase made for this. I would gladly take one with it instead of the cheap eye mask.

Man I remember the commercials for Sobakowa (I think) buckwheat pillows back in the '90s... "Made with real buckwheat husk." They literally had a guy fly across the screen and land on a tiny little pillow. Cracked me up.

When is a pillow not a pillow?
When it's only 2.5" thick.

Oddly, as a stomach sleeper, I find that if I use only one thinner pillow, I wake up with lower back pain, but if I use two standard pillows I sleep comfortably. Probably has something to do with periodically turning to the side at night, but the vast majority of my sleep is stomach. Not crapping on the deal -- I know that thin pillows work for a ton of stomach sleepers -- but this is just my experience.
Stomache sleeper here, I find the most comfortable position is to use one or two pulled and angle them long way down my body so my torso has a slight incline as well toward the top of the pillow. I Might just be weird though

Thin pillows can be helpful for people with neck pain or TMJ. It takes a little getting used to but has made a big difference for me. I'm currently using BlueWave pillows, which seem similar to what is posted. Those run $30-60, so this seems like a pretty decent deal if the quality is comparable.
I love my 2.75" BlueWave pillow. After a very long search, I finally have a pillow that's the right height for me as a back sleeper, and also has support under the neck. But every so often I want to sleep on my side, and my thin pillow is terrible for that. Maybe one of these Umiboo pillows would be good to stack on top of it.

Never heard of that
They were a thing years ago. We had one which was like a tube and that thing was perfect for your neck, keeping the baby from rolling over, etc. Now that I think of Buttwheat I miss that pillow.

Thin pillows are great if you have a plush mattress and sleep on your stomach. Obviously if you sleep on a mattress that's basically a plywood box you'll need a much thicker pillow lol

Anyone have experience using this as a pillow to sit on in the car for long drives?
