22.8" circumference is very small. It may suit east asian heads but not many western ones.

As another Arizonan, you can, in fact, wear 4 baseball caps on top of each other to get your neck and ears too. Just make sure the Diamondbacks one is on top. Totally not silly.

I should get one of these since I live in Arizona and baseball caps don't protect the back of your neck (unless you wear them backwards and then your face is unprotected), but I always thought they looked silly. Although, the reviews are good and the price is very good.

Wore it on a recent cruise to the Bahamas, not the most stylish but I spent the entire day in the water wearing it and probably the first time in my life my face, neck and ears weren't torched by the sun. (Yes I wear sunscreen) it was cool and comfortable. Will be using it while camping this year as well. My only gripe would be it wasn't well packed so the brim is kind of foldy/creased but an iron can probably fix it.
