22.8" circumference is very small. It may suit east asian heads but not many western ones.

As another Arizonan, you can, in fact, wear 4 baseball caps on top of each other to get your neck and ears too. Just make sure the Diamondbacks one is on top. Totally not silly.

Wore this in maui last year, it's not much wider than a classic adidas bucket hat and not much uglier really. Perfectly decent hat.

I bought one of these last year. I wear a size 7 1/2 hat and this hat was simply to tight for me to wear. It was really small. I ended up giving it to my 8 year old nephew and it fit him perfect.

White will also reflect your own body heat back into you. If you look at people in the Middle East, the ones actually out in the desert, they're typically wearing black for this reason.

I bought this - tan I think - came in cream color - not what I wanted.

I love the pics - the brim is stiff, and overall hate looks solid. When I received it - material is lightweight and very flimsy - the brim is just floppy. Overall - for the price I guess it works.
