This is one of the best headphones. The bass on these headphones is phenomenal. It is like having a home theatre on your head. The price is good. Battery life is great.

Have 2 of these, because I bought one off the previous $65 Woot deal and it got lost in the mail. Woot sent me another pair after two weeks had passed without an update from FedEx (or whomever). Then, about a month after that, the original ones showed up in a box that was beat up but the headphones still worked. Score one for the poor folk.

If you like bass buy these. Nothing compares. It's like wearing a 12" subwoofer on each ear. I have worn mine just about daily to the gym for over a year now and no issues whatsoever, even the padding still looks brand new.

I Agree these are one of the best headphones hands down. People that pay several times the price of these for such great sounding high end yada yada headphones are getting ripped off. Having an adjustable bass slider so you can easily adjust for music or movies is awesome!!! its exactly as said above...like a movie theater sound experience through headphones. Seriously try them vs beats or Sony's high end or any of the others, they Can't do bass to give it the full sound like these!!

I haven't tried this and I'm looking forward to comparing it with the high-fidelity haptic subbass on the Corsair HS60 Haptic. Basically this Stanford dude (some materials engineering researcher) designed the haptic driver for capturing the tactile dimension of sound, as it's not just purely auditory, and because he is a basshead as well as a high-fidelity nut, he made sure that the haptic driver had a flat subbass actuation response, analogous to hi-fi drivers having the perfect flat frequency response. I passionately recommend trying out the Corsair HS60 Haptic only in this context, as it is unfortunately associated with novelty "bass-shakers" that you find in the Razer Haptics where even voices are bass boosted and only at a specific midbass (50Hz) frequency, not a flat actuation over bass frequencies. Bass-shakers are cool and games are much more fun with them, but the HS60 Haptic lets you experience that AND allow you to experience sound with higher fidelity to reality than any thousand-dollar hi-fi headphones ever created (note the irony of EQ-ing a perfect hi-fi headphone because it is physically and technologically limited in reproducing the subbass vibration from a larger a more powerful subwoofer driver). Unfortunately the Corsair has severe QC problems with actuation imbalance, and without the haptics they're mediocre budget audio, but it is worth the RMAs to get a perfectly balanced pair (Amazon Resale can go down to $17). Also it's not wireless. If this Skullcrasher has a similar actuator design this would be my best headphones ever. (Will edit for the cool actuation response graph.)

I've been into over-the-ear/on-the-ear headphones for about 15 years now and own these and a dozen other pairs in the ~$150-600 range. I'll say that these aren't "good headphones", but they're "fun headphones" and definitely worth the price for certain types of music.

They're comfortable, the bass is insane (and very adjustable), they're bluetooth or can be wired. The quality of the audio isn't the best by far, but the bass makes up for it when you want that. For games? music with bass? absolutely recommend these. For accurate audio or times when you just want something clear/crisp? these aren't the best.

I know you don't expect much from $100 headphones, this is mostly just to say that the "These are one of the best headphones", "it's like a home theater!" comments aren't how it really is. It's a home theater in the sense that there's lots of bass

Add me in for another enthusiast on these. I always read about it and thought it was gimmick until I had the chance to grab one of the Woot deals. I had my expectations set rather low and was blown the hell away by just how vibrant the haptic bass made everything sound. After exhausting music for a few hours, I let it charge and came back to my Xbox for my weekend morning "while the wife and kids are asleep" gaming hour or two. That was intense as hell. Had to dial it back a bit as EVERY explosion felt like I was in it directly. Almost tiring in that sense. Great buy though, even as a niche product.

this evo paired with a portable dac/amp....have experienced nothing like it....bass massage

Absolutely my favorite headphones. The bass is the real selling point, but I love the full range on these better than any other pair of headphones I've ever had. The sound profile is perfect for the way I want to hear music. Audiophile purists can say whatever they want, but these are the best, hands down.

The last generation was FAR better imo for working out. I got these looking forward to the USB-C aspect, but what I realized immediately is they are way harder to keep on my head. Material seems to be much looser in general. Impressive headphones, but not for working out... unlike the previous generation which I will continue to work out with until they absolutely break into pieces.
I have apple airpod pros, beat fit pros, XM4's, the older generation of these skull crushers by FAR are the best workout headphones. If they make another generation in the future, I hope they go back to making them fit a little tighter and not so flimsy.

I remember adding this pair of headphones to a watchlist back on January 4th hoping for a deal on these and my day has finally come. I bought a pair of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headphones a while back from Best Buy for around $300 and they are probably one of the worst pairs of headphones I've ever owned for the amount of money paid. Can't wait to replace those with these.
