Pizza is not free. It is actually $5. Last deal was for $20. These things keep going up..

His point was that since this deal is $5 more than the last deal but includes a pizza, you are technically paying $5 for the pizza.

For the past year or two, memberships are pretty regularly $20, so I think it's fair to compare against previous deals to know whether this is a good price or not.

In previous years they were free or money makers - eg the "Join for $45, get a $45 gift card" stacked with a $25 AMEX credit offers - which haven't been around for a few years now and probably aren't coming back.

As long as she uses another email address and credit card then the one on the account now, it should work.

That deal doesn't exist any longer, this deal does and it certainly includes the pizza for free with the cost of membership. It's silly to compare an existing deal with a previous deal that is no longer available.

Did the tmobile deal that was supposed to include the free pizza, but the deal didn't auto-apply in the app like it was supposed to. Customer service in the store refused to help.
