Who knows why they put the word endurance on these, that's not a thing Shokz makes. These are the OpenRuns. I use OpenRuns every day, and for some things like podcasts and audiobooks they sound great. For music, they still sound pretty good but lack bass, and it can make music less fun to listen too. For me, the real reason to use bone conduction headphones is comfort and being able to hear your surroundings, and these check those boxes. If you are able to spend a bunch more and want better audio quality, I would go for the OpenRun Pro 2s, that's what I would get if I was buying today.
It would be nice to have some open headphones like this for the treble and mids and bone technology built in for the bass. That said I've tried a lot of good headphones but I've never done the bone earphone thing.

Sounds like you are thinking of something like Skullcandy Crushers where they rumble to simulate a subwoofer like experience. That's not how bone conduction works. Bone conduction is inherently bad at bass and doesn't really have a hard time with treble and mids. The OpenRun Pro 2s added an air conduction speaker to improve bass response.

I had 2 or 3 pairs of the wired ones back in the day. They can give you a little bit of jaw/sinus pain. If you absolutely need to hear the people around you and what you're listening to at the same time these are top notch. Sadly, I don't think they make the wired models anymore. Everyone is willing to risk cancer just to not have a wire. It's really not that hard to route the wires inside your clothes. I still do it to this day.
Risk cancer you say? Are you a doctor?? Did you get your degree from facebook posts there, champ?
