It is $49.97 everywhere near me. HD will not match for an inventory in another state.

great price. I have one. very easy to use. you don't have to keep the saw blade installed. just don't lose it. everybody living in the 'burbs should have one of these in their garage to cut down branches that are just high enough and you don't want to bother with a ladder

The reviews on this are pretty bad. I was considering this but they scared me off.

I can't imagine much that would go wrong. These are very basic it's a saw blade at the end of a pole, with a small U hook branch pull at this price well worth it.

That's surprising. I have a longer version and never had any problems. And every Fiskar product I own is good quality.

I have two but only use it when it's a branch not too high. The problem is the extension. If the branch is 8 feet high and you can cut it without extending, fine. Big you have to extend 4 feet to get to 12 feet, as you pull back and forth on the blade, the extension lock lever is very weak, so any resistance from the branch jamming the blade, the extension slides in and out instead of the blade sliding. Some people add adhesive and duct tape to extend and fix the extension permanently but than it gets clumpsy on lower branches. Also not going cut branches that gives and flexes like palm fronds because you can't put too much pressure.

Was able to grab one from my local Lowe's the other day after seeing this, so thanks for pointing this deal out! Was able to lop off some branches that were rubbing against my roof and siding that my home insurance company was complaining about. Never pruned branches before with one of these and I found it pretty easy. Though my neck and shoulders started to hurt after a while of sawing. Branches were all 10-12ft up off the ground and this helped me get them all.

I got one these from HD when it was around $25 bucks and it works fine when NOT extending the pole. Once you extend it out, it will be difficult to pull the cord back when cutting thicker branches as the extended pole part bends and flexes. Just a heads up!

I came to SD to share this deal, but found it was already here. I stumbled upon the price while searching Google for another Fiskar item. $12.52 in Southern NJ.
