A little over 30% off per item sounds like a decent deal but it really isn't if you think about how each item is full price or over priced (I found many items that were marked way higher then they deserve to be).

This is so true. At least when Target still had other media like movies and TV show sets in store you could price match other retailers to sweeten the deal. That's how I routinely got my per item cost down to a reasonable amount versus their inflated prices.

One of the items I would have looked at for this deal (Venture Bros Complete Series) is 50% higher than even Walmart had it for briefly.

YMMV. The books I selected were the same price as on Amazon AND unlike Amazon, who takes the cheapest book off, Target has an average that does a little better. So, I wait for this. But then again, the books I get are esoteric, so YMMV. Still A good deal IMHO.

It depends. The prices on the Rhino Quadio line of Blu-ray audio worked out to $14 a disc with the sale. Way under the $25 each Rhino charges. It did seem like the vinyl was jacked up so I skipped any of that.
